The system's goal is to alleviate the difficulties that blind and visually impaired persons encounter when navigating and shopping in supermarkets.
The system is broken down into four subcategories: item detection, quality detection, pricing computation, and interior and outdoor navigation.
While the item detection component aids in recognizing specific goods, the interior and outdoor navigation component aids in exploring stores.

By tracking product pricing and calculating purchases, the price computation component aids with billing.
The solution is intended to be a supplement to everyday items, lowering the consumers' total cost of ownership. Finally create the IOT device.

Blind persons have significant challenges when navigating a crowded store. Due to crowded pathways, difficult-to-read signs, and crowded passageways, finding products can take some time and be frustrating. This is where a supermarket's blind-friendly assistive technology may come in handy. IOT should assist and direct blind people through the market in real time. It may make use of several technologies, including audio directing, object detection, and voice control. The system may use an assistive technologies display or another sensory interface to provide responses and additional details.
One of the main features of the assistive system should be its ability to direct the user to specific items within the store. For, the system should provide audio instructions on how to identify the right section when a user mentions the name of an item they are looking for, followed by specific assistance on where to find the item inside that store.
The system should be able to provide details about the layout of the store, such as exits, restrooms, and checkout lines. The user should always have access to this information, enabling them to find the desired location quickly. Additionally, the assistive system might be connected to the inventory management system of the store, giving real-time information on the stock of items. For instance, if a user is looking for a specific brand of cereal, the system might let them know if it is currently in stock and point them in the right direction for the store where they can buy it.
And last, a supermarket's accessibility features for the blind could significantly improve their ability to shop. By providing real-time guidance and support, the device may enable blind people to move through the store more easily and independently, avoiding the anxiety and frustration that are sometimes associated with grocery shopping. The ability to navigate in a new environment and to plan a safe route to the intended location are one of the most difficult challenges that persons with visual difficulties face in their everyday activities.
