Acoording to our developed web application we implement and expect that
correct a sentence according to s-o-v pattern, correct the Sinhala input in terms of
spellings, correct a sentence with grammar and user style to obtain a meaningful
Sinhala output sentence.
Considering in the pattern identifying, we can identify correct word as segment to SO-V pattern.
System recognize the text inputs using non topological analysis
(word formatting analysis) and it will Identify as a S-O-V method. Then it will match pattern
and template. Finally, web application will show the merge sentence in correct s-o-v
pattern.
The spell checker detects misspelled Sinhala words in a specified sentence or
paragraph and provides the best suggestion in case of misspelled words. When the user
enters a word or sentence in this implemented tool, words will be checked by letters
according to the Sri Lankan spelling rules. Here we have followed only a few spellings
rules as Sinhala is a complex language. Finally, it will display the most precise words.
Also here we have considered a suggested word list that considering one word with different meaning.
Considering the grammar checker, the user can identify the subjects of verbs and
sentences are identified in the form of sentences. Then it would be the active or passive
voice of the sentence, male or female, singular or plural, is defined and identified. Then
the system checks the correctness according to the identified sentence. The entire
sentence will identify as above to access each sentence in the paragraph.
User styles indicate how a particular Student uses typing styles for tones, word
selection, sentence structure. Some writers have a simple and concise style. So, users
can select their user styles after typing the sentence/paragraph. We mainly focus on
user style as a formal and informal sentence in Sinhala. Also, it is important to know
how to use punctuation marks in correct place of a sentence. In User style has focused
on how to apply punctuation marks too.

Identify the Spell checking
1. Get a sentence according to s-o-v pattern.
2. Check the words according to the sinhala spelling rules.Here we have considered most common spelling rules and we have given some suggested word list for user to update as their preference.
i. The most common Sinhala spelling mistakes are due to confusion of the retroflex and the dental letter.
According to the language of south India, they used න, ණ, ල, ළ and it will be the most common spelling error in the Sinhala language.
Eg:

ළමයා ලමයා
‘ණ’ and ‘ළ’ represent as the retroflex nasal and the retroflex lateral. But these two
letters pronounced as same manner න-n and ල-l.
ii. In Sinhala Language there may have, Words that the same spelling, the same
pronunciation but different meanings are called homonyms. The use of
these letters may change the meaning of some words.

3. If the given words are already exist , db will return the words with the correct spells and finally will display the correct sentence.

2. The incoming text is split into separate token (word, abbreviation, punctuation a) objects and sentence boundaries are detected.
