### Main Objectives
- The research project on “Safe Ride: Vehicle alert system for drivers”, aims to develop a mobile app that can accurately detect when a driver is drowsy or distracted while driving and provide an alert, to improve road safety and reduce the number of accidents and fatalities.
### Specific Objectives.
- Driver’s Drowsiness and distraction detection using Eye movements.
- Driver’s Drowsiness and distraction detection using facial expressions.
- Driver’s Drowsiness and distraction detection using hand pose detection.
- Driver’s Drowsiness and distraction detection using head pose.

If the driver falls asleep or distracted while driving, we can identify it by the redness of the eyes.If the driver falls asleep while driving, we
can identify it by his eye blink rate.

How do hand movements affect driving performance and contribute to distracted driving and the solution will be provide in here.
Objectives :
- Detecting images of both hand movements using the mobile camera.
- Identifying distraction.
- Triggers an alarm to alert the driver at the correct moment if both hands are not in the steering wheel.
- Track the vehicle location that vehicle is moving or not.
- Implementing a user-friendly interface.

- Detect head pose changes accurately and in real-time using image processing.
- Analyze driving patterns and distraction levels to establish a safe head pose range.
- Alert the driver in real-time when they deviate from the safe head pose range.
- Test the solution's effectiveness in preventing distracted driving through field tests.
- Develop a user-friendly interface for easy accessibility.
