To make an attractive and detailed mobile app for Sri Lankan Ornamental fish industry
-- Main Research Question --
In Sri Lanka, the Ornamental fish industry is a significant point to gain foreign reserves. People who are involved in and like to involve in the aquaculture industry face the critical problem of not having an all-in-one solution to guide them to build up the business.
Use of technology separately from the steps of aquaculture is not a good solution for this.
And there isn’t a significant system or an application to be found developed to solve this issue in Sri Lanka. The existing systems focus on some particular options only.
The system should be compromised with various tools in order to make the management of the process of making the fish tanks accurate and perfect.

Member 01 - Fish Category Prediction.
Lack of a system to predict fish categories, food types, and suitable fish types that can
be put along with a particular fish in the tank, in the ornamental fish industry in
Sri Lanka with the involvement of supervised or unsupervised learning
Member 02 - Fish Disease Identifier and Solution Provider.
Lack of involvement of technology in identifying the diseases and the solutions to them in the
Sri Lankan Ornamental Fish Industry
Member 03 - Recommendation of Best Type of Fish Based on Multiple Factors.
The less involvement of the technology to give the user an idea about the best fish type to be
maintained in the tank considering the relative factors.
Member 04 - Prices Prediction.
When considering the existing platforms and research there is a vet less contribution of modern
technology to predict recent market prices of Ornamental fish which are specific to the categories.

Member 01 - To develop an app-based subsystem to predict the fish categories in the tank and several other measures in 1 year period.
Member 02 - To develop a subsystem to find and analyze the diseases of the fish in tanks and to recommend solutions for them.
Member 03 - To develop an app-based sub-system to predict the best fish type to be maintained in the tank that will be beneficial when producing the end result.
Member 04 - To develop an app-based sub-system to predict the ongoing market prices so that the user can define a better price for their fish product.

Proposed Solution --
The solution has to be a user-friendly application to guide the customer.
In this application, aquarium owners and people who want to be an owner of an Ornamental fish business would be the target customer.
And also someone who wants to gain an extra income selling fish would also be beneficial.
As mentioned before the main system will be the android application which will contain almost all the backend models and algorithms.
The use of images of the fish, community experience, and recommendation engines will play a crucial role in the application.
Previous data will be collected and will be trained to do future predictions. This process will be significant use of modern technology for Sri Lankan industrial empowerment.
A suitable business model must be created with ways to convince customers to use this service.
