Main Research questions
1. Some skin diseases are almost similar in appearance. But the treatments which are done for them differ from each other. Without detecting a disease more accurately may cause dangerous situations.
2. Neglecting a skin disease can be spread to more severe levels. Without identifying the severity level of the disease, it cannot be treated properly. Even for a same disease, it uses different ways of treatments according to the severity level. Without knowing the stage of the disease, some owners may treat their pets home remedies, which will cause more danger.
3. Most of the time even though the disease is known, the owner’s lack of knowledge might cause the further spreading of the skin disease. If the patient did not get cared properly there is a possibility of recurring the same skin disease. As the mentioned in above there is considerable knowledge gap about the skin disease among owners.
4. There is a lack of platforms for dog owners to ask questions and be aware of their pets from expertise. Questions can be differ from each other owners, therefore they might need an answer more than common information.
